Register for Our Annual Meeting on February 28
So it’s all coming together – as long as you’ll be there: In this plague year, our Annual Meeting will occur “virtually” on the last Sunday of this month at 11:30 a.m., CST.
The meeting is vital to our functioning as a parish. It’s where our members elect the Vestry, receive the treasurer’s report, and this year consider changes to the bylaws. When we have one, the rector makes a report.
You’ll have to bring your own refreshments this year.
There’s no change to the definition of “electors” as men and women age 18 and older who in the past year have supported the parish “by their offerings and presence.”
The meeting must take place over the Internet, and specifically will be on the Web site of the video-conferencing service Zoom, because the coronavirus pandemic continues to prevent our gathering in person.
You must register online in order to attend. There’s a link below that will take you to a registration form.
Important detail: Only one vote will be permitted per connection to the meeting, so one parishioner in a household might need to be on a smartphone while another is on the computer.
