Save these dates for the next Used Book Sale: June 12-15.
Sunday’s 11:00 a.m. bilingual youth class for teens ages 12+ meets in the choir room on the 2nd level of the office building. This group meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.
If you wish to sing in next Sunday’s parish choir, please sign up today at the ushers’ table, and come to a rehearsal at 9:00 a.m.
Next Sunday, June 8th, we will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. We will have just onemulti-lingual service that day: at 11:00 a.m., and Isadora Felicidad Beaufils Robertson will be baptized. After the service, the whole parish is invited to enjoy cake! Note: We will not have the “Introduction to Anglicanism class” on this day; it will resume on June 15th.
The Rt. Rev. Alba Sally Sue Hernandez will visit us on Sunday, June 29th for an all-parish bilingual service at 11:00 a.m. when she will officiate baptisms, confirmations, and receptions. There will be an all-church reception with the bishop to follow the service.
Good news: Luke Plein, junior Yale University student, is here! He’ll be here through July 3rd to help with some administrative & ministry projects, grow his Spanish language skills, and companion the young adult ministry. Would you like to provide a week of hospitality (lodging & meals) for him while he is here? He is particularly interested in staying with Spanish-language families. Please notify Rev. Elisabeth ASAP.
We are collecting items for the second 2025 Donation Drive for Casa Hogar la Divina Providencia, a residential home for persons with special abilities. Below is a list of requested items, which may be dropped off with the security guard Darío
between 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Stay tuned, too, for the possibility of an in-person visit with residents during the month of June. Would you be interested in organizing some activities for us to do with the residents? Please let Rev. Elisabeth know ASAP. Thank you!

Note: We will be forming a special choir for June 8th & June 29th, the celebration of Pentecost & the bishop’s visit, respectively. Please stay tuned for the rehearsal details.
Christ Church Finances: Many parishioners paid their complete annual pledge in the first quarter of the year, for which the Vestry extends a huge thank you. In addition to providing crisis care to a couple of parishioners, we have made needed maintenance repairs. For example, we replaced a broken water gutter on the office side of the church and repaired related water damage inside of 3 offices. We will begin work within the next couple of weeks to repair the three rectory doors, one of which does not open properly and two of which are a security risk. We hope to continue the electrical updating of the church premises later this Summer. Thank you, all!
Exciting partnership: With Arq. Sergio Sandi’s help, we have been accepted as a destination for arquitectural university students’ “servicio social.” Ten students will come to Christ Church on a daily basis for two months to digitalize the church’s arquitectural plans, the paper copies of which have been damaged over time.

El próximo domingo 8 de junio celebraremos la Fiesta de Pentecostés. Tendremos un solo servicio multilingüe ese día: a las 11:00 a. m., y se bautizará a Isadora Felicidad Beaufils Robertson. Después del servicio, ¡toda la parroquia está invitada a disfrutar de un pastel! Nota: No tendremos la clase de "Introducción al Anglicanismo" ese día; se reanudará el 15 de junio.
