Rev. Elisabeth Sinclair
Feb 10, 2023
In preparation for our upcoming annual meeting on February 19th, at 1:00 p.m., please be sure to read the Vestry candidates' biographies (available in print at church this Sunday and available in past and upcoming special edition Community Weekly emails) and the reports that will be emailed this week so that you may be prepared to vote. If you do not receive the Community Weekly email and wish to do so, please fill out a request on the newcomer card on the table near the sanctuary entrance.
Facemasks continue to be recommended but are no longer required at Christ Church.
Dear Parents – No Sunday school today, but children may play at the craft table – with parent supervision, please. We continue to pray for and actively seek children’s teachers. For a paid coordinator role, please see this Saturday’s Community Weekly email.
Please save these dates…
• On Saturday, February 18th, Christ Church will hold its first Quiet Day, from 10.30am-5pm. Quiet Days are designed to give people the opportunity to spend quality time with God, and to reflect on their lives in the light of his Word. This is a wonderful way to get ready for Lent! It will include times of coming together to hear reflections on scripture as well as three 1-hour periods to reflect quietly by yourself. We will also share lunch together. To sign up, or if you simply want to know more, please email: Karen- karen.p.leader@gmail.com Please sign up before Feb 12, and plan to stay for the whole event.
