Upcoming Adult Formation / Christian Education Offerings
The bilingual Youth Class (roughly ages 10-15) meets today Sunday, August 31st, at 11:00 a.m. on the 2nd level of the office wing. This group meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.
Are you interested in being part of Christ Church’s unfolding music program by singing in the choir, playing an instrument, etc.? Please contact Antonio Ortega Rivera. *Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m. & Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the choir room on the 2nd level of the office building.

This Sunday September 7th from 12:15-1:00 pm, Fr. Michael Schirmacher and Alejandro Massa will offer a class on "Creation Care - The Climate Crisis" in the white room. • September 14th: Outdoor Worship & Creation Care
On this day, you have 3 options:
1 9:30 a.m. Bus leaves for Lago de Guadalupe, where we will have an outdoor bilingual worship service with a celebration of Eucharist, followed by a tree-planting service project. Note: Please dress casually, wear shoes that can get damp, & bring your own gardening gloves if you have them. Return to Christ Church by 2:30. [Followed by optional taco lunch together.]

*The Guild will provide a Mexican Independence Day luncheon at 12:00 p.m. between the English & Spanish prayer services.

Unas oportunidades para aprendizaje espiritual…
La clase bilingüe para jóvenes (de 10 a 15 años aproximadamente) se reúne hoy, 31 agosto a las 11:00 en el segundo nivel del ala de oficinas. Este grupo se reúne el primer y tercer domingo de cada mes.
¿Te interesa formar parte del programa musical de Christ Church, ya sea cantando o tocando un instrumento? Contacta con el coordinador musical Maestro Antonio Ortega Rivera lo antes posible. *Los ensayos están los jueves de 18:30 a 20:00 h y los domingos de 9:30 a 10:30 h*.
Este domingo 7 de septiembre, de 12:15 a 13:00 h, el P. Michael Schirmacher y Alejandro Massa ofrecerán una clase sobre "Cuidado de la Creación: La Crisis Climática" en la sala blanca. En este día tienes 3 opciones:
1 9:30 a. m. Salida del autobús hacia el Lago de Guadalupe, donde tendremos un servicio religioso bilingüe al aire libre con celebración de la Eucaristía,
seguido de un proyecto de plantación de árboles. Regreso a Christ Church a las 2:30 p.m. [Almuerzo opcional juntos]. Por favor, vistan de manera informal, usen zapatos que se puedan mojar y traigan sus propios guantes de jardinería si los tienen.
Se requiere confirmar asistencia + un depósito de $100 mx antes del domingo 7 de septiembre. *Por favor, contacte a los acólitos para confirmar su asistencia y depositar su dinero.*
2 11:00 a. m. Servicio de oración matutino en inglés en la capilla (sin Eucaristía)
3 1:00 p. m. Servicio de oración en español (no habrá Eucaristía)
*El Guild ofrecerá un almuerzo por el Día de la Independencia de México a las 12:00 p. m. entre los servicios de oración en inglés y español.
